Mountain of Dreams No. 0022 — Twin Moons
Nature made the design. I'm just complimenting it.
The crack became the mountain.
One mountain in every piece. A different sky each time.
The natural driftwood crack sets the mountain side and the frame.
Mike's flagship work — burned by hand, sealed with beeswax, on hemp.
Nothing stained. Nothing printed. Just wood and fire.
The particulars
Small moons, small mountains: a dot and a target-ring in the sky, three mini peaks with dark filled caps marching along the base. It's the edition at miniature scale — same mountain, same twin-moon sky, everything turned down small and neat on fine-ringed pale wood. Don't wear jewelry? Hang it from your mirror. It rides with you. Hand-burned by a human — no laser, ever. Sealed in beeswax. This piece is dw-mod-0022, numbered once and never repeated.

The wood has the last word.
Nothing stained. Nothing printed. Just wood and fire.
Take it off for showers and swimming. If it gets wet, dry it slowly at room temperature.
On wax-finished pieces, rub in a little plain beeswax and buff with a soft cloth. Labor of Love is boiled in beeswax: refresh it the same way to keep that finish.
