Driftwood foraged off Lake Erie, cut and cured, then drawn on with a hot tip. Every line you see was made by heat. Nothing here is stained or inked — that colour is heat. Pendants are $20 with hemp lace, $15 on their own.

People assume every line is burned. Often the grain, a knot or a spalt line made the shape and the burning is answering it. This knot became an eye — I didn't plan that, the wood did.

Monkey Mike found pyrography while looking for hobbies adjacent to fire spinning — fire poi, fire staff — and wanting one that made something positive out of it. Art assembled from nature, 100% organic materials, made by hand.
It stuck because it works as art and as a business. It is a simple format, which means it can be taught, and shared. That is why there is a workshop at the booth and not just a table of finished pieces.
