- Check the chosen piece's listing for measurements. Don't judge size from a photo alone.
- Lay a string where you want the pendant to sit. Measure that length before choosing your hemp lace.
- Missing a measurement? Ask Monkey Mike before ordering. We'll measure the actual piece.
Wood isn't waterproof.
- Off for showers and swimming. Away from prolonged heat and direct sun.
- Wet piece? Pat dry. Let it dry slowly at room temperature. No radiator rescue.
- Wax-finished piece? A little plain beeswax, rubbed in by hand and buffed with a soft cloth.
- Labor of Love is raw, without beeswax. Leave it raw if you want to keep that finish.
- Keep hemp cord dry. Replace worn or fraying cord before wearing again.
An extra. Not emergency gear.
Beeswax-dressed hemp can serve as tinder.
Using it consumes the cord.
Carry proper emergency supplies. A citronella-infused finish is a finish choice, not proven bug protection.
